Nanny Responsibilities

The nanny shall be responsible for providing complete care, supervision, and support for the child, including but not limited to the following:

1. Infant & Child Care

• Providing attentive and compassionate care to the baby/child at all times.
• Ensuring the child's safety, comfort, hygiene, and overall well-being.
• Supervising the child during playtime and daily activities.
• Assisting in maintaining the child's daily routine.

2. Baby Massage & Bathing

• Performing gentle baby massage, if instructed by the parents.
• Bathing the baby using safe and hygienic practices.
• Maintaining the baby's personal hygiene throughout the day.

3. Feeding & Nutrition

• Preparing fresh, healthy, and age-appropriate meals for the baby.
• Sterilizing feeding bottles and baby utensils.
• Feeding the baby according to the schedule provided by the parents.
• Ensuring proper hydration and nutrition.

4. Sleep Routine

• Helping establish and maintain healthy sleeping habits.
• Putting the baby to sleep during naps and bedtime.
• Monitoring the baby's comfort during sleep.

5. Hygiene & Laundry

• Changing diapers promptly and maintaining proper hygiene.
• Washing, drying, ironing, and organizing the baby's clothes.
• Cleaning and sanitizing baby bottles, feeding accessories, toys, and other baby-related items.
• Keeping the baby's room and belongings neat and organized.

6. Development & Engagement

• Engaging the child in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
• Encouraging cognitive, emotional, and physical development through interactive play.

7. Health & Safety

• Immediately informing the parents of any signs of illness, injury, or unusual behaviour.
• Administering medication only under the parents' instructions.
• Following all safety guidelines provided by the parents.
• Maintaining complete confidentiality regarding the family's personal matters.

8. Verification & Security

Every nanny provided by LegUp (Instatail Products Private Limited) undergoes comprehensive background verification before placement, including:

• Identity Verification
• Address Verification
• Criminal Background Screening
• Police Verification
• Court Record Verification

9. Professional Standards

The nanny is expected to:

• Be punctual, trustworthy, courteous, and professional.
• Treat the child and family members with respect and dignity.
• Maintain personal hygiene and a neat appearance.
• Avoid unauthorized visitors or sharing confidential information about the client's family.
• Perform duties with honesty, care, patience, and responsibility.

10. Exclusions

The nanny's responsibilities are limited to childcare-related duties only and do not include:

• General household cleaning.
• Cooking for family members (except preparing meals for the baby/child).
• Laundry of family members other than the child.
• Washing family utensils.
• Driving family vehicles.
• Running personal errands unrelated to childcare unless specifically agreed in writing by both parties.
