Cancellation and Refund Policy

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

LegUp ensures customer satisfaction but understands that cancellations may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. The following terms apply:

1. Booking Fee

  • Non-refundable under all conditions.
  • Exception: If no caregiver profiles were shared, a full refund will be provided.

2. Subscription Refund Rules

  • Silver Plan (30 Days):
    • Full refund if the caregiver didn’t join.
    • Midway cancellation: pro-rata refund based on ₹8,999 ÷ 30 days.
    • No refund if full 30-day service is completed.
  • Gold Plan (90 Days):
    • Full refund if the caregiver didn’t join.
    • Midway cancellation: pro-rata refund based on ₹11,999 ÷ 90 days.
    • No refund if full 90-day service is completed.
  • Platinum Plan (180 Days):
    • Full refund if the caregiver didn’t join.
    • Midway cancellation: pro-rata refund based on ₹16,999 ÷ 180 days.
    • No refund if full 180-day service is completed.
  • Japa Gold & Platinum Plans:
    • Same refund rules as above apply, based on unused service duration.
    • No refund once full service duration is completed.

3. Customer-Initiated Cancellation (Unrelated to LegUp)

  • 50% cancellation charge will apply on the pro-rata refund if cancellation is due to:
    • Relocation
    • Hiring someone else locally
    • Family emergencies
    • Change in care requirements

4. Caregiver No-Show

  • If the nanny doesn’t show up on Day 1:
    • Receive a full refund of the subscription fee, or
    • Request a replacement caregiver

5. On-Demand Services (Hourly/Short-Term)

  • Full refund if the caregiver is a no-show or LegUp cancels.
  • No refund if the customer cancels less than 2 hours before the appointment.
